
Ms. Stone is a former banking executive with expertise spanning strategy, marketing, finance, product management, disruptive technologies, and intellectual property functions who was named as one of ten 2020 Top Women in Banking by Banking New York magazine. She served in various leadership roles at Signature Bank for nearly 20 years, where she played key roles in its pre-opening activities and launch, in regulatory and digital transformation following the financial crisis of 2008, and in its growth to a $47 billion institution. Ms. Stone served as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Marketing & Assistant to the President and Chief Executive Officer from 2012-2018, Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Assistant to the President and Chief Executive Officer from 2007-2012, and Director of Finance from 2005-2007. Prior, she spent five years as a Senior Financial Analyst; the role to which she was initially appointed at the time of Signature Bank’s founding. Ms. Stone began her career in finance at Republic National Bank in 1998, as a Business Planning & Analysis Associate.
Ms. Stone serves on the board of directors of 826NYC, a creative writing charity serving elementary and high school students in underserved communities. She sits on the organization’s finance & audit and governance committees. Ms. Stone also serves on the Fordham Art Law Alumni Advisory Board, providing support and guidance to students exploring legal issues in the visual arts. Additionally, Ms. Stone is a member of the Audit Committee of the National Arts Club, a nonprofit organization and members club which seeks to stimulate, foster, and promote public interest in the arts.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from La Salle University’s School of Business Administration in Philadelphia, and a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law in New York. Ms. Stone lives and works in Manhattan.
